What HR Mapper Does & How It Works

The Problem This Tool Solves

Recruiters and job seekers in India often need to find HR professionals at specific companies. Commercial recruitment platforms impose restrictive search limits and charge significant annual licensing fees (often ₹75,000 to ₹2,50,000 per seat) to access search features.

Meanwhile, Google's public search index already contains publicly accessible professional profiles across LinkedIn, GitHub, Naukri, and other platforms. The challenge is that writing syntactically correct Boolean search strings manually is tedious and error-prone — a single missing quotation mark or uncapitalized operator breaks the query.

HR Mapper automates this query construction process: you enter a company name and optional location, and it generates multiple pre-formatted Google X-Ray search strings ready to execute.

How the Query Engine Works

The core query engine takes your input (company name, location, optional domain) and combines it with:

• Indian HR title variations: The query engine includes title arrays covering legacy enterprise bands (AVP HR, DGM HR, Delivery Partner TA), modern startup titles (Head of People, Strategic HRBP), and manufacturing designations (Plant HR Head, IR Manager).
• Multi-platform site: operators: Queries are generated for 12 platforms including LinkedIn, Naukri, Indeed India, IIMJobs, and others. Each uses the correct domain path format for that platform.
• Negative exclusion operators: Common noise terms like -jobs, -dir, -pulse are appended to filter out job postings and directory listings from results.
• Proper Boolean formatting: The engine handles quotation wrapping, uppercase OR operators, parenthetical grouping, and URL encoding automatically.

Limitations & What This Tool Does NOT Do

Transparency matters. Here's what HR Mapper does not do:

• It does not access any private database or scrape any platform. It generates search queries that you execute on Google.
• It does not guarantee that the people returned by Google are currently employed at the target company. Google's index may be outdated.
• The email permutation feature generates common email format guesses (e.g., firstname.lastname@company.com). These are statistical guesses, not verified email addresses.
• The AI Find People feature sends your natural language request to an external AI service for processing. This is not client-side.
• Result quality depends entirely on Google's index and whether professionals have public profiles.
